Bay Breeze Consulting was founded by Sonja Minich. She has a Master's degree in Systems Engineering from George Washington University and a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering from University of Virginia. Both degrees have helped Sonja cultivate a diverse engineering background in both commercial and government industries, as well hone her skills in management and business strategies, optimizing business and process improvement, software design, computer programming, web design, and marketing.

She has been supporting commercial Engineering firms since 2004 in a wide range of government, contracting and business in both systems engineering, management, marketing and software creation roles. She has since transitioned to web design roles, business advising, marketing roles and event planning to give her more flexibility with her family.
